This tutorial explores BOOM!'s new Data Studio layer regarding English Council's housing delivery performance and years of housing land supply (YHLS).

Housing delivery test layer:

The layer functions on a simply slide rule and check box scenario. The slide rule applies to both Delivery test '23 measurement and YHLS; you can slide the individual rulers from 0% to +200% and 0yrs to 20yrs respectively; the Delivery test consequence is a check box including:

1. None;

2. Buffer;

3. Action plan;

4. Presumption in favour.

Why Leverage the Housing delivery test layer?

Plain and simple, it's a powerful tool. It allows users to identify underperforming Council's in terms of both housing delivery and years of housing land supply which will improve the likelihood of securing planning consent for otherwise policy compliant applications.
